Yea, so I think Shakespeare was such a good writer because he knew the shallowness of the human condition - the essence of human fragility. And he knew how to capture it and put it again a backdrop of dramatic false-truths. I’ll spare the details of example, but, he was definitely good at it.

Amongst others, especially in work meetings, you see this Shakespearean backdrop play out in the most dramatic ways! I’ve seen this in a number of different work environments. Now, as a black man, I’m already looked at as a fool and only capable of producing extreme amounts of force and passively inarticulate, so, i’ve got nothing to lose by just watching without commentary on most things that transpire in front of me. So, I’ve elected these days, to take my sweet precious time and sit on my tiny ass and watch it.

I notice that folks love dramatizing their own human fragility. That’s not new news. But what I find fascinating is the method by which folks use the dramatizing, then package it as intellect, brave weakness, transparency, authenticity, gentleness, and overall, pride. Damn Satan, you are pretty good. Lol.
