Yoyuu.

Type: Abstract Noun

Language: Japanese

Pronunciation: '“yoh-yoo”

Etymology: a combination of yo (additional, extra) and yuu (ample, abundance)

Meaning: Yoyuu is presence.

Yoyuu is the presence of a slight, momentary pause that allows you to recharge and prepare for whatever comes next in life - be it a business meeting, brunch, writing session, teaching, or a big presentation. It's that imaged space you should take for yourself to gather you mental clutter, and poise yourself for the purpose of accommodating the other needs for the day. Yoyuu expresses the accompanying feeling of calmness when you’re mentally apt for challenge and change.

In its noun form, yoyuu represents an external balancing act guided by internal stability. Someone can be described as having an “air” of yoyuu about them. When used as an adjective, yoyuu speaks to the clarity and confidence breathed into the person’s foundation, such as yoyuu time, yoyuu conversation, and yoyuu space.
