Practical Biomechanics - Where Can We Help?
It's easy to associate biomechanics with exercise.
A thorough knowledge of how biomechanics impacts activities of daily living, functional performance, and other areas is not as clear. What is certainly clear is this: Many individuals perform many basic activities with incorrect biomechanics (ex; walking).
Think about individuals you see regularly (in the gym, at practice, in class, in the food store, etc.). What activity have you recently seen them perform incorrectly?
**(Of course, if you're not aware of the correct way to perform the activity, you will need to do a little bit of research)***
