Resilience. I think it to be the key to life.

resilience

I really do.

To quote the legendary Toni Braxton,

The nights are so unkind.

But I realize the potent capacity of resilience. Because - life hurts us all. Especially in the times of now. Resilience is tough. It’s tough to man or woman up and move on. Carry on. Shake it off.

But, it’s the only way we survive.

The only way.

Someone forgot to tell me, “I love you”.

Someone forgot to check on me.

Someone got too busy to stop by.

Someone didn’t come through on a promise.

Someone didn’t keep a vow.

Someone didn’t do it.

Someone hurt me 12 years ago.

Someone walked out on my life. Damn. I’ve cried so, so many nights.

Time is so, so unkind.

Unbreak me.

But. Resilience.

Yeah, you can do it.

Be resilient.
